Statesville Housing Authority is centrally located in Iredell County, at 110 West Allison Street, Statesville, North Carolina, and was established in 1968 to provide low income citizens with safe, clean, and affordable housing. Statesville Housing Authority is responsible for the administration of public housing, housing assistance payments, and other related programs.
SHA provides more than a physical structure for its residents. We collaborate with several public agencies and private organizations to provide a wide array of support services for residents, enabling them to become productive and self-sufficient citizens.
- Currently we accept only Public Housing applications and Multi-Family/S8NC applications at the main office at 110 West Allison Street each Tuesday from 8:30 to 3:00.
- Effective July 2, 2018, we will be completely converting to taking applications online for all programs. With this process we will open the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waiting list for one year until July 1, 2019.
- All of Public Housing and Multi-Family S8NC properties are Smoke Free inside of the unit. Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of any building
